Little info on founder of chef whiz...

Richard F. Hirsch was a creative entrepreneur. In the 1950s, he owned tungsten mines in Mexico and founded Chef Whiz, a forerunner of the fast food and vending machine industries. He was managing partner of J.K Lasser in Los Angeles and eventually joined Touche-Ross, where he retired as a partner in 1988. He then joined City National Bank, heading up a merger and acquisition unit. He was a founding member of Leo Baeck Temple and a longtime member of Brentwood Country Club.
