Here\'s theVery Rare1966 Pete Fountain\'s Half-Fast Walking Club .999 Fine SilverDoubloon (First Year of Issue). The doubloonmeasures 39 mm or 1 1/2\" in diameter andisinExcellentCondition. Payment due within 48 hours of purchase.Note: The obverse features the Pete Fountain Logo. The reverse features an American Indian in Headdressand reads\"SALUTING AMERICAN INDIANS...MARDI GRAS 1966.\" This doubloon was designed by H. Alvin Sharpe, the Creator of the Mardi Gras Doubloon and bears his familiar \'HAS\' initials. Pete Fountain\'s Walking Club is a New Orleans Walking Club which participates in the Mardi Gras Day Walking Club and St. Patrick\'s Day Parades. They traditionally Costumed as the ethnic group which appeared on the reverse of their doubloons each year. Much nicer than it appears in the photos.
