Description

A VERY FINE AND RARE EARLY 19TH CENTURY TIN TOLE WARE SIDE SPOUT COFFEE POT IN ITS ORIGINAL PAINT DECORATION. Probably Pennsylvania, Circa 1830-1840 in WONDERFUL condition.

An extremely fine early coffee pot that is all complete and original.
This great coffee pot still retains its original applied strap handle, original lid and side spout. No repairs or restorations, just the typical paint loss we see from nearly 200 years of use.

Great original paint decoration with the typical losses from use and time. In the late 19th century they over coated the piece with a light coat of varnish to protect the paint, (which it did nicely).
It has been on a very long time and have a nice grungy look.

This is a wonderful early tin coffee pot in great condition and very nice paint.
