This is a rare and lovely 19th century paper mache box from the Lukutin factory. The portrait of man selling tea is done in spectacular detail from a master painter. The portrait shows a bearded tea seller . The overall condition is excellent with no damage whatsoever. on the inner rim there are some minor age chips . I am not sure but it looks like this piece is from the Piotr Lukutin period (early to mid 1800\'s) or later 1800\'s.
