Rare 19thc English Porcelain Lady's Dresser Set Antique Victorian Porzellan Set For Sale
For sale is a great little dresser set made in England in
the 19th century. It consists of a candleholder, two ointment / makeup
lidded pots and a small tray for your jewelry or such. The set is nicely
handpainted with a green ground color, fancy gilding and some flowers
on transfer outlines. An unusually nice set and in great shape. There is
some staining from age and it could use a good cleaning but the only
real damage is a chip to the rim of the bigger pot which is hidden when
the lid is in place and a bit of fine crazing. Even the gilding is in
great shape which is nice. The set is marked with the pattern number
4680. Not sure of the actual maker but if someone knows and email would
be very appreciated! The tray is 2.25 inches wide and 5.5 inches long.
The candlestick is 3.75 inches in diameter and the hole for the candle is
0.625 inches in diameter. The small ointment / makeup pot is 1.25
inches tall and 1.875 inches in diameter and the large pot is 2.375
inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. If you like my goodies have a look at my other sales for a lot more
