Gorgeous Design - SUPERB CONDITION - Barker Brothers

This is a really lovely ANTIQUE solid sterling silver milk or cream jug which was made in Birmingham, England in 1913 by the illustrious Victorian silversmiths, Barker Brothers Silversmiths at their Constitution Hill workshops. This wonderfully stylish and fine quality jug is in superb condition. This wonderful jug has a gorgeous Georgian baluster shape with plain sides, decorated edgesand finished with a decorated loop handle. It is raised on a high pedestal base. The jug measures 2 1/8\" in diameter,4\" across from handle to lip and stands4 1/2\" tall. It is rather substantial - it weighs87.0 grams -well over 2 3/4troy oz. It is NOT engraved.

The jug is in very good condition withjust the usual light surface scratching and NO splits or repairs, NO dingsor dentsand NO distortion- SUPERB. It is hallmarkedHEB over FEB,lion passant (sterling silver assay mark),three sheaves,N showing that it was hallmarked in Chester in 1913. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. A really lovely and very rare ANTIQUE jug in superb condition after over 100 years as you can see from the photographs - at a VERY low start and .
