Up for sale without reserve is an old circa 1919 and very Rare Advertising Checkerboard Mailer for the PAN \"King of the Field\" Tractor to be built by the Pan Motor Company / Pan-Town-On-The-Mississippi / Saint Cloud - - - Minnesota. The Checkerboard side of the mailer pictures the Pan Tractor and has advertising that reads Manufacturers of Pan \"Queen of the Highways\" The Motor Car You Have Waited For. The mailer shows Brief Specifications for Model 12-20 which stated Subject to such Improvements, Changes or Modifications as we Choose to make. Below the specifications was a Notice which reads Orders will be accepted, with deposits, in advance of quality production, which we plan to begin in the fall, subject to delivery in the order received and at such date as our production permits. This Checker Board Mailer was for a Tractor that was never built and for a Company that the owner was convicted of mail fraud. There was supposed to have been a prototype of this tractor built but my research into the company says that it doesn\'t exist today.Condition of Mailer / Checker Board is good or better with light edge wear, stains and bumping or creasing to corners.Checkerboard has punch out checkers and one has been punched out and is missing.
