Rare and unusual figural Arts & Crafts hammered lidded box with pierced thistle motif to lid, made of aluminium circa 1920s.

Measures 131 mm tall, 5.2 inches.

Maker stamped, NCJ LTD., Stratford on Avon, to base.

In good condition with some general wear; see photos.
