This is a stunningly rare antique 19th centurylarge bronze and hand carved wood religious Mary and baby Jesus statue.The statue is made from extremely thick bronze and is very heavy.it has beautiful detailingdepicting Mary cradling baby Jesus in her arms and has acquired a nice patina from age.they stand on a very ornate hand carved and painted wooden base.it is in the shape of a flower and a stylized rock/rectangular base which is painted by hand with thick polychromed paint.the statue sitsonto of the flower but can be removed if desired.it is in nice antique condition and measures 15 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide.the statue alone measures 9 1/4 inches and isextremely heavy.very rare nice quality religious statue.

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims. If it is under 40$ and insurance is not requested from buyer, I will not be responsible to refund purchase for broken or lost item/items.
