Rare Antique 18thC Meissen Porcelain Habor Scene Saucer Porzellan Untertasse:
$499.00
For sale is an early saucer made by Meissen in about 1735. The saucer is superbly handpainted with a very nice merchant / harbor scene in the center surrounded by a double red line trim and a fancy gold trim to the rim. The saucer displays perfectly but sadly is has two star hairlines which is a bummer when the piece has no other issues and zero wear. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 4.75 inches. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark as well as a gold D. There is also a gold ring around the outer side of the footring.
