Up for sale is this beautiful Ansonia mantle clock. At first I thought it was cast brass, but then I saw the wear around the bezel, thought it didn\'t look right, so I tested it with a magnet and sure enough it stuck, so I suppose that it is brass coated instead. I have been testing the clock the past couple of days and it was running and striking, but it was running fast. I had been using a replacement bob that I thought would work, but when I moved the clock to this table to list it I found the original bob inside, so it may need some adjustment when you get it. Only the one bob is included, I just showed the second so you could see the difference. There is some wear to the finish and dial, as well as the previously noted wear around the bezel. I do not know when the movement was last cleaned and serviced, it\'s an estate find. Measures about 10 1/2\" x 7 3/8\" x 4 1/4\".
