This is a Rare Antique Boston Clock Company Tandem Wind Victorian Black Marble Onyx Slate Mantel Clock circa 1880s in working condition. Please be sure to read the entire description carefully before purchasing. Due to the weight and age of this clock it is being sold as is, no returns. This is a Rare Clock by a Rare Clock Company. The Boston Clock Company became the World Famous Chelsea Clock Company, and these Clocks are Extremely Rare! It has a Signed \"BOSTON CLOCK CO.\" Brass Tandem Wind Mechanical Time and Strike Movement which winds from a single Winding Arbor. This has Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime which Chimes Once on the Half Hour and the Correct amount of times on the Hour. The Dial is a Rare Fancy French Style Porcelain Dial with Heavy Bevelled Glass Bezel. This is a Key Wind Clock. It does not include the original key, but a replacement key is provided. The clock is in running condition at the posting of this listing, but it is running a little fast. Due to the age of the clock, and the sometimes rough handling by the post office I give no guarantee the clock will be running, or the accuracy of it once delivered. The clock appears to be all original. I bought this clock at an estate sale, and have no idea if, or when it was last service. In my opinion if you are going to buy this clock you should plan on having it professionally cleaned and serviced. The clock measures approx. 11 7/8\" Wide x 9 1/2\" Tall x 5 7/8\" Deep and weighs 23 pounds. The Black Marble Slate Case has a crack on the back that cannot be seen when the clock is displayed, and a screw that I have no idea why it\'s there. The clock is in overall Very Good Condition, as pictured and should Display Well. Please closely review all of the posted photographs, so you may judge for yourself the condition of the item.
