In all the research that I did on this RARE piece I only found one otherlike itand they were asking much more.This is the condition it was from the estate, I just wiped it with a soft cloth. For being 100+ years old this lady looks pretty good.

This great heirloom art piece is in good vintage condition and has wonderful character and display with fine artistic detail and a warm aged patina presentation. The patina is heavier on one end then the other.

Exceptionally alluring, this young maiden is presented in the floral and whiplash period theme of Art Nouveau. A captivating beauty, her graceful aesthetic is evident at every angle. This great art piece will capture attention and generate discussion with its beautiful character. She will attract attention and be the center of envy with anyone who sees her.

This piece is not signed but has the typical HJ Judd co 9000 series number, I am unsure of what the metal content is maybe iron with brass or bronze on top.

She is sturdy and would be useful as a décor accent in a variety of options as I have seen these used as actual book-racks or as wash cloth, hand cloth or even towel racks. I have also seen these great items used as a frame work for an ivy or floral arrangement. She would look wonderful in any Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, European or French style décor. She would also anchor any French, Victorian, Art Nouveau or even a Mucha style collection.

Height: 6 Inches Length: 13 Inches Not Expanded 24 Inches Fully Extended.

Condition: good – no cracks, chips or repairs noted – only heavy patina and worn finish indicators of use, as is to be expected in a piece of over 100 + years. The rods connecting the ends show some corrosion but this easily remedied with a fine cleaning and proper preservation with lubricant. This is a serious collector worthy original era piece that has a variety of display venues.
