For sale is a beautiful antique mortar.

Antique brass, it could be bronze, but I think it is brass.

This is an nice sizemortar.

The mortar is about 5 inches tall, 5.5 inches in diameter.

Attractive patina.

Age and origin is unknown.

I can tell you that this mortar rested in the display case of a pharmacy from the 1970\'s-1990\'s.

It is very heavy and substantial.

This is an apothecary/pharmacy relic that dates back many years.
