style=\"text-decoration:none\" height=\"27px\" valign=\"middle\" face=\"arial\" For your consideration is this incredible original antique c1910 German tin windup toy. The toy is tin litho and features a man pulling a woman in a cart. The mans legs are movable, and the woman\'s arms are hinged so can be moved as well. The wind up mechanism appears complete but is frozen. It would need a good oiling and some tinkering, but I feel it should work again if you desire.
The toy measures 7.25\" by 5.5\" tall. It bears no markings but is most likely German, and possibly by a firm such as Gunthermann. The toy is in VG to VG+ condition for a toy this age. There are some paint nicks, some paint missing on the legs of the man, and some more than average wear on the hat. The head of the woman needs a little straightening as the tab is showing. Some slight bends and wear. The wheels are loose and fall off when tipped, so they may need a small nut to fasten into place if desired.
Despite some small issues, really an incredible example of a very early tin toy. It makes for a wonderful display piece in any collection!! Dont miss out on this one!
