This is a very hard to find antique cast ironBroiler-grill. It was made by the General Electric co. in 1905, last patn. date 1906, as shown. What makes it so rare is because there was literally no market for electric appliances at that time because no one had electricity in their homes. It was probably used in large hotels or a steam ship that created their on electricity. This was probably the first one ever made. There is no damage , cracks or repairs. there is no cord, but I can see no reason that it would not work. Measures about 12 inches by 9 inches by 5 1/2 inches tall on one end, it is slanted so the grease would flow out the end. Weighs 15 lbs. , or buy it now, Sorry.,I might be able to find a cord by the time the sale ends. there should be one availableat this estate.
