Proud to offer the rich history of the early 20th Centrury with this exquisite pair of English Sterling Silver candlesticks made by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd. This elegant pair of Old Sheffield sterling silver candlesticks were produced c.1904 in the Georgian era styling. The base, shoulder and drip cup have a pretty boat shape. The decoration consists of narrow fluting on the base, column and sconce with reeding around the shoulders and base edge. The fine fluting adds some pretty sparkle in the light. The maker\'s marks, assay and date marks are found on the the base and removable bobeche are featured in the supersized photos. The candlesticks are weighted for balance.

This pair is in what I would consider excellent condition given their age with no significant damage and almost no visible wear. There are signs of use in the form of very small dings/dimples most of which are on the base, however all will be pictured for close review of them. None are large, and certainly pale in the overall beauty of these pieces. The bases need new felt. The candlesticks measure approximately 11” tall with the bobeche included. The bases measure approximately 5 1/2\" x 3 7/8\"
The removeable bobeche measures 2\"x 3\"x 1 1/2\" deep. Please view the supersized photos for additional details and e-mail the seller with questions prior to offerding.
