Dating from the late 1800s this is a beautiful antique French silver perfume bottle which is a very unusual design with 2 opening leaves within.
It carries superb French silver marks and is in fabulous condition. I have given it a very quick clean but it would polish much better as required.
The front and back outer case are engine turned with the front having a scrolled and curled cartouche for a monogram.
The first leaf opens to reveal a good French hallmark in the inner lid and a round pierced holder for what I am unsure?
The leaf with the \"holder\" then opens to reveal the inner case where there is another mark.
The \"pin\" has a decorative top finial and fits snugly.
There are no dents or damage and I do not have any jewellers scales but we estimate it to be 25 gms approx.Measurements:

Diameter 4cms
