Hand raised into the shape of an archaic arab water carrying vessel.

Made near Amarah, southern Iraq by skilled Mandean silversmiths.

It features fine quality intricate nielloed work depicting a Great Mosque, date palms and various boats sailing on the river Euphrates

Tactile and beautifully proportioned with a height of 113mm or just under 4 and a half inches.
Made from a good gauge of guaranteed solid silver, it weighs a creditable 99g or 3.5oz.
It\'s in very good antique condition.
