Rare Antique Kilgore RA-TA-TA-TAT Machine Gun toy cap gun. Made in the USA around 1938 .
Toy isgood working condition . Everything functions as it should.
This cap gun is made of nickel plated cast iron. Some of the plating has been lost, as can be seen in the pictures.
The crank works well and cannot be removed. I have seen two different variances of the crank that is removable. I have no idea if this one is original to the gun or if it was re-engineered by some ones father long ago. It is obviousthatit has been with this toy for a long time.
The grip is in great condition. The spring loaded door still works great. There issome minor surface rust on the interior cap compartment. just needs a spot of oil.
Toy is a little over 5 inches long.
This is a toy and cannot be made to fire any kind of projectile.
A great collectible toy.
