A wonderful Antique 19th Century Large Silkwork Armorial Family Crest Sampler.
Beautifully hand embroidered in Vibrant Silk Colours on a Cream Linen Background with raised Flowers.
Depicting a Magnificent Eagles Head holding an Acorn in his Beak with a Shield beneathand the Family Motto:
\"FAMAM EXTENDIMUS FACTIS\" embroidered on the Scroll at the foot.
In Good condition for age with some light staining to the linen background (please see photos).
Size: 24\" high x 19.5\" wide.
