Description: An antique handled Mocha Mustard Pot w/ original domed lid, England, early-19thC. Bulbous form with footed base and applied handle with foliate terminals. Decorated with an undulating tri-color Earthworm or Cable motif over Blue and Brown banding. Heavily-tooled roulette rim band with a darker Blue Slip accent. Retains correct original cover with complimentary banding; these lids are very rare in any condition.

Condition: Lid has a chip adjacent to the spoon cutout, as shown; otherwise Very Good with strong color. Expected wear on rim and base consistent with age use and handling noted for descriptive accuracy. Minor soiling on interior (base) from use. See photos for complete details and close-ups. Please consider them as part of the description. Measures 3-7/8\"H x 3-1/2\"W overall, including the handle. The base, body and rim diameters are 1-7/8\", 2-3/4\" and and 2\", respectively. Height to rim: 2-7/8\".
