Montblanc 202 Safety Filler dated 1938 with excrutiatingly rare palladium nib.

This is a small size Safety Filler from the 30s in very well kept condition. There is no brassing to the trim, fully working with new cork seal carried out by the best in the business. No cracks to speak of. Imprint in the cap is clear/like new and the barre has been partly polished (discolouration seen in photos, normal for these pens).

Nib is a super rare size no.2 made from palladium in flexible oblique fine. The reason this nib is so rare is palladium was only used in 1938 when gold was forofferden from use in fountain pens under Hitler in ww2. The nib was gold plated and this plating has been partly polished as seen in photos.

Won\'t find another like this for the well read Montblanc collector.
