Rare Antique Indian Islamic Mughal silver gilt and crystal Rosewater sprinkler

Dates from the late 1700\'s. Thick heavy gauge silver and heavily gilded

The hobnail patterned high cut crystal container is securely and cleverlyheld in silver gilt wires threaded through loops at the top and fixed to smaller loops to the base beneath the crystal

One wire is missing. The sprinkler joins in two with a silver twisted thread which was later renewed - see photos.

This understated and unusual piece shows logical signs of wear and usage. It remains solid, functioning and in generally pleasing shape and condition

Weight - 215 gms. Size - 6 3/4\" x 2\" or 17.25 x 5cms.
