Very rare set. I am unsure what their purpose was, as both are also adorned with the letter \'t\'.Both marked STERLING, which I believe would make them American silver.Each measures approx 72mm in diameter, but the enamel is in good condition. There are two minute pin top dinks on one plate, and one on the other.
