Gorgeous Design - SUPERB - 7 1/2 troy - Edward Barnard

This is a really lovely ANTIQUE solid sterling silver LARGE milk or cream jug which was made in London, England in 1915 by the famous Victorian silversmiths, Edward Barnard & Sons at their Hatton Garden workshops. This wonderfully stylish and fine quality jug is in superb condition. This wonderful jug has a gorgeous Victorian baluster shape with decorated rims,rolled edgesand finished with a capped scroll handle. It is raised on a high decorated pedestal base. The jug measures 3 1/2\" in diameter,5 3/8\" across from handle to lip and stands3 5/8\" tall. It isVERY substantial - it weighs226.4 grams -over 7 1/2troy oz. It is NOT engraved.

The jug is in very good condition withjust the usual light surface scratching and NO splits or repairs, almost NO dingsand NOdentsand NO distortion- SUPERB. It is hallmarkedEB&S,lion passant (sterling silver assay mark), leopard head, ushowing that it was hallmarked in London in 1915. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. A really lovely and very rare ANTIQUE jug in superb condition after 100 years as you can see from the photographs - at a VERY low start and .
