Rare Antique Vintage F.E. OLDS & SONS SUPER OLDS Trumpet #13577 w/ Mouthpiece & Hard Case Thissale is for aRare Antique Vintage F.E. OLDS & SONS SUPER OLDS Trumpet #13577 w/ Mouthpiece & Hard Case. Estate find. Few small dents and dings, one causing slight bend to trumpet when standing up. Pearl top valves, all feel smooth - one missing the metal cap at the bottom (see photo #9). Engraved on mouthpiece it reads Olds 3. Engraved around the rim of the bell it reads Made by F.E. Olds & Sons, Los Angeles, California U.S.A. Super Olds. Engraved on the side of valve #2 is the number 13577. Case is in pretty nice overall condition considering the age - some scuffs and dings especially on edges. Some material peeling back at a few corners. Both latches lock securely if you push the knob to the side, then push knob again to unlatch them. Handle securely attached. Interior felt shows some wear but is intact, one section pulls up to reveal a lower hidden section. Don\'t know what else to say - I don\'t know much aboutinstrumentsso I am detailing it the best I can. Sold As Is, so please ask any questions. Great addition to your collection! Also, the Northwest Indian stickers all over seem to trace to a high school in Ohio - really gives the case a cool look! Local pick-up in Kutztown is always available.
