I will be listing a variety of nice estate-fresh Antique and Vintage Items this week. Here is a Charming OLD \"MAYFLOWER SEWING SET\" by GROPPER TOYS, BROOKLYN, N.Y.. I have not been able to find another one of these boxed sets anywhere in my search. Probably c.1930 vintage or thereabouts. Comes with everything you see as found in an old estate. Box is 9-3/8\"L x 7\"W x 1-3/8\"H. Comes with a \"Made in Japan\" Googly Eye Doll as found in box. Since I can\'t find another of these sets, I don\'t know if the doll is original to set or not, but I did find different Mayflower Sewing Set that had a similar googly eye doll with it online.
Doll has a cracked face and hairlines on back. One of her arms has thread sticking out of socket, but both arms swing okay. The box is in superb, clean looking condition with no damage and full bright graphics on top and sides- remarkable condition for it\'s age. There is a paper of clothes patterns, and three pieces of material with ring of colored thread and needles. The doll has a primitively made green dress and hat. Scarce old craft-toy set.
