This is a very unique antique German Santa Mask or old St. Nick mask. It is made of a gauze type material. The face is hand painted, with deep blue eyes and rosy cheeks with age lines on his forehead. His eye brows, mustache, hair, and beard are a spun cotton type of material. It is made to tie in the back of the head. I am sure in the old days most children, seeing this face on Santa, would be very good. I have had fun owning this mask and the children actually love it. For the age of the mask it is in great condition. (Size: His face to top of the hat is 13\"---His Face is 8\" wide---length of the beard 9\"--- The total length the mask is 22\")
