Estate Sale Find...! Up for sale is an ADORABLE early and unique mohair duck...I have never seen another one like him...he is not only well made but unusual in his construction...He is made of mohair, he has his original glass eyes, his original sailors outfit is just adorable and made of felt - I think it\'s wool felt...his wide Duck Feet are also covered in wool felt - like slippers..and his \'feet\' inside is made of an early Compo or Clay like material...his legs are made of wire - so he\'s posable- can sit if you make him...on the upper part of his legs under his pants I can feel and see straw, I also feel straw in his mid-section...his head is jointed and turns..his beak is also made of felt...his wings are not jointed and feel like they have straw inside...He is very small measuring approx. 5 1/2 inches tall X approx. 4 inches across from \'wing to wing\'...He can stand fine on his own...I don\'t see any tags or buttons - but he is so well made I\'m leaning towards Steiff or possibly Herrmann...I feel that he is German but offer on what you see...Comes from a smoke free home and is in very nice condition...Guranteed to be old....Condition: He is in excellent condition, his glass eyes are original, his mohair is full and in very nice shape, his outfit is all original and in nice shape as well...the Compo or clay feet - on the back of one foot the Compo or clay may be touched up or it may be factory but in no way takes away from this unique and rare fabulous little fellow...No odors...see pictures as they are also part of the items description...please ask all questions prior to offerding...Prompt payment via Paypal is always appreciated or within 2 days of sale ending...item will be packed well and shipped via Priority Mail/Insured/Tracking/Delivery Confirmation....Items ship approx. 3 business days after receiving payment...thanks and good luck offerding...!
