Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1930\'s modernistic cigarette roll-top box with red & black bakelite top from San Francisco Estate. Patterned after Walter Von Nessen design. Circa 1930\'s. This wonderful box has a streamline design with four ball shaped feet and chrome interior. The overall measurement is 4\" long, 3-1/2\" wide, and 2-1/2\" tall. This cool box is made of metal with a chrome and red enamel finish, the roll-top is made of black and red vintage bakelite plastic from the 1930\'s. There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but there is a similar one in the \"Collector\'s Guide to Art Deco \", by Collector Books, Second Edition. on Page #116, that says it was designed by Walter Von Nessen. The condition is amazingly very good - shows wear, missing paint, and some tarnish, but no chips, breaks, or repairs. The top rolls back and forth with no problem. The estimated value was $95.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $29.00. This fabulous deco cigarette box came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. It has a great deco look - very modernistic and unique. Pictures don\'t do it justice. It is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone\'s collection.Buyer pays shipping.
