Item Description Art Deco Box

A beautiful Art Deco Musical Cigarette or trinket Box. it has a Horse Racing theme, this does not carry a makers mark but it is very strongly in the style of Hagenauer. the song label is to the base which reads \"Wien Du Stadt Meiner traume\" which translates to the well known song Vienna city of my Dreams. i presume this would mean the box is Austrian in origin. the musical section is in good working order. the box is made from Brass with some dark decoration which i think is a type of black paint? and is wood lined. this is a fabulous piece of Art Deco perfect to add to the collection.

Size 13.5 cm wide and 9.5 cm long and 4 cm tall

Condition in great antique condition, there are two screws which hold the wood cover of the musical section missing, and one screw which hold the musical section to the base is also missing, these could easily be replaced. there is some very minor pin sized denting to the cover. please use the photos to have a closer inspection and look at the overall condition.
