This is an absolutely beautiful antique Flag pole stand with a 2 piece antique wooden 6 ft Flag pole. It has as brass fitting that connects the 2 pieces( 2ft & 4ft) It looked great when I got it but I hand polished it and it really came to life. The stand had no rust on it and only weighs about 7 lbs, which leads me to believe that it has some aluminum in it. However it is magnetic so it has to have some type of steel, iron or magnetic metal in it as well. I have seen some that have silver in them too. It has a couple different marking on the bottom. One is clearly a number which appears to be 880. Im assuming there were only so many of these made and this is number 880. The other one is not so clear. It appears to be a serial number or some type or label. I have looked at it from every angle and it every type of light and im pretty sure it is: 0-1903=0. I have searched for weeks trying to find out what that means. I have found some research that makes sense but im hoping someone that views this date, and if that is the case, this may have been made in 1903. Im not 100 percent certain about that so im going to do an sale and start the price at 25.00. If you have seen a stand like this or know what any of the markings mean, please message me. Don\'t worry I will not jack the price up if its worth more. Just want to make the listing as accurate as possible. The base of the stand is 10.5\". From the ground to the top of the stand is 15\" The (round) top part of the stand unscrews from the base is 1 1/2\" in diameter and 11\" long. The Flag pole sits in the stand about 6 inches, making it about 7ft from the ground to the top of the pole. The shipping price is for the base only but I will pay the shipping for the pole
