This beautiful pure Jadeite Jade solitaire ring is set in 14k gold in a simple yet sophisticated style. The Jade stone measures 13mm by 9mm (length and width) and it measures 4mm in depth. It has a carat value of 4.0, and it is a cabochon cut. The ring is a size 9.

This ring\'s history:It is a vintage ring, however it is in excellent condition. It spent most of its life safely tucked away in my mother\'s jewelry box. It was purchased in Asia, as my stepfather traveled there often for fine jewelry conventions. I was just a kid when my mother got this. I am surprised she wanted to get rid of it, because it was such a special gift and I remember what a big deal it was to have a genuine jade ring! It was a long time ago, and Mom cleaned out her her jewelry box. Now it can be your treasure!
In one of the photos, I am shining a light through the back of the jade stone to show the natural fibers. This is one of the methods jewelers use to check authenticity. Genuine jade will show natural patterns and imperfections, which adds to its beauty and mystique. And the ring has a 14K marking inside the band, and it passes 14k gold tests.
