Up for sale is this very rare bronze plaque made in palestind by the bezalel jerusalem school of arts and crafts, the artist is moshe murro (1888-1957)
, this small but high quality plaque is designed as three rabbi\'s standing in front of Rachel\'s tomb in israel and talking about torah , you can
see there are two yemen rabbi\'s and one ashkenazi rabbi , in the back round there is another student that is listening to the debate between them.
the plaque is signed twice , on side says : m.murro and the other side the same name מ.מורו in hebrew .
the quality of this plaque is just amazing and so are the details , i think i can say this plaque is murro best work ever , he made a lot of works
but in this work the details are superb and so is the scene .
Moshe Murro (1888-1957) who in addition to his work in medals headed the Kameya workshop specializing in carving stone, shell, and ivory. Among these are Jewish \"types,\" including the Tunisian boy with a turban and sidecurls and the young halutz (pioneer).
his works are very rare and very early , and i think this plaque dates to the 1920\'s .size:
