This Unique amulet was made in Siam before 1918. Thismonk died in year 1962 at the age of 88. He was one of Thailand’s most famousMonks, and personally blessed this amulet for use as you would the St. BenedictCatholic medal. The Bezel is a later addition.
This antique amulet was acquired by my mother, aCatholic missionary nurse living in Siam during the 1940’s. Some were acquiredwhen visiting Buddhist temples near the hospital where she worked. We haveposted a picture of Bertha above; the founder of Church-Woman Antiques.
