here more aboutthe famous German Metalwork manufacturer WÜRTTEMBERGISCHE METALWARENFABRIK - was founded 1880 by the fusion of two existing German companies (Straub & Sohn and A. Ritter & Co) in Geislingen /Steige Germany. According to the fine quality and the magnificent design WMF became one of the world largest producers for household metalware (brass, copper and silver plate) around 1900 (aquiring further companies as Albert Köhler (AK & Cie), Orivit and Orion in the following years). WMF achieved its zenith during the period of Jugendstil (Art Nouveau), but due to the excellent artists as Hans Peter, Albert Meyer, Rudolf Meyer, Herman Obrist, Albin Müller, Peter Behrens and last not least Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld (leader of the metal workshop BAUHAUS) WMF ensured its success during the period of Art Deco until / 6.8\" (17 cm ) x 7.2\" (18 cm); brush: length 9\" (22,5 cm)

CONDITION
in good condition with some signs of use and age see photos - some age related scratches, tiny pinhead dings and a plain ding at the chromed boardering of the bakelite, which do not bother at all as I think
