Rare Civil War Saber Bayonet Sixth Plate Tintype. Pair of Double Armed Federal SoldierPard's, Holding Their Rifles w/ Saber Bayonets Affixed, Pistols Tucked in Their Belts, Cartridge Boxes, Kepis, Breastplates and Belt Buckles. Their Company "B" Designation is Stitched to the Breast of Their Coats. All theAccoutermentsw/ Gold Embellishments. Image Housed in a Half Case, Bare Wood. Conditon: The tintype has light surface wipes and solarization around the perimeter. The image is a touch dark, but still a very nice piece. Image is housed in a half leatherette case with the leather missing, bare wood showing. A little paint would make for a nice ensemble.
