Description

This rare button filling fountain pen is marked "Svanstroms Brilliant Pen No.1". As you can clearly see it was made by Conway Stewart and doing a little research these pens were made by Conway for the Swedish office supply company "Svanstroms". The nib is interesting as it is marked "Boliden" and is the original fitted to these Swedish exports. The nib is very slightly bent but still very useable(see photo\'s). The blue mottled body and cap do have light scratches from use but there are no chips or cracks. This pen is unrestored and will need a new inksac and has no doubt laid unloved for many decades. The pen measures 4.75 inches in length with the cap on. The word "rare" is used alot these days when describing anything old but any button filling Conway Stewart pens are hard to find these days and the Swedish export angle makes it even more interesting. This will make a fine addition to any vintage fountain pen collection.......offer NOW!
