Thisoriginal cel painting of Winnie the Pooh and Owl with matchingbackground painting were created by artists at Vaccaro Associatesunder direct Disneysupervision and photographed in the making of an educationalfilmstrip titled \"I Believe in Make Believe.\" In the 1980\'s Walt Disney produced a series of narrated film strips featuring the charactersfrom the studio\'s popular Winnie the Pooh animated films basedon the stories of A.A. Milne.
Theart was created in much the same way as that for animated films: abackground painting with cel of the characters with registrationholes along the bottom. This set of originals has the \"WaltDisney Educational Media Company\" stamp and\"Vaccaro Associates, Inc.\" label on the back along with thetitle of the filmstrip. Handwritten production note \"BG D\"appears at the bottom of the cel sheet; \"12F Fr. 9 w/BG D\"is written on a paper cover sheet.
