An exceptionally rare early 17th Century German antiquebellamiine jug bearing three armorial medallions with arms for the Duchy ofJulich-Kleve-Berg, circa 1600-1620.

With typical \"tiger glaze\" but of rare colourationgiven the cobalt blue splashes.

Condition - restored. Feint traces of repairs and overpaintalbeit undertaken very well by an exceedingly competent restorer. This jugdisplays very well.
