A rare mid 1860s carte de visite of Jennie Wade, with imprint of Tyson Brothers of Gettysburg. It\'s in good overall condition; the corners are bumped, and there is a vertical crease in the middle going about halfway up from the bottom of the card stopping just as it enters the bust, leaving her face unaffected. Early CDVs of Jennie Wade are hard to come by, and the period pencil inscription on the back declares her \"the Heroine of Gettysburg\", evidence of her status as a legend even at this early date.
