This is a rare early version of a Magic Mountain souvenir Das Alpenhaus stein. The old Magic Mountain mascot troll is on the front and Das Alpenhaus is on the back. The handle is made to look like carved wood and in later versions it has a wizard. The troll on the front is also different compared to the later version. It is made of porcelain and measures 7 inches tall. It has a small chip on the handle (pictured above) and a hairline crack on the back side (also pictured above). The crack is not very visible and as this is a display piece, not to much of an issue. When the stein is facing front, the chip is not visible either. Thanks!
