This beautiful antique ring is very interesting. Carved out of a cherry orange amber, this light band ring has silver mani in fede hands or \"hands in faith\", long a symbol of friendship, love and faith. Most likely a fine promise ring or a marriage betrothal find.
The top has been flattened off and each side has decorative accents. This ring was clearly hand made and is very old. The silver is metal, non-magnetic, and believed to be fine silver but it cannot be tested due to the position of the design. To do so might cause damage so please note that this ring is sold as silver-colored.
Lovely, rare and in around a size 6.75.
The ring is shown in both natural light as well as a camera flash. While color might vary from the views settings, it is best described as a burnt orange.
This ring show wear commensurate with age and has a dark patina as shown. It will be sent in the black heart ring box as shown.
