Rare GEORGIAN SILVER SHELL-BACK MARROW SCOOP SPOON, London 1759 William Turner:
$224.02

We are offering for sale a great example of a Georgian silver double-ended, shell-back marrow spoon.

This good qualitymarrow spoon takes theform of a largetable spoon sizedbowl and a narrow scoop - ideal for extracting the tasty morsels from the Georgian delicacy of marrowfat bones.

The reverse side of the spoon bowl is embellished with an original shell motif. Marrow spoons are more scrace than marrow scoops, and fancy back examples are rarer still.

It has a clear set of hallmarks and is in excellent condition.

Please view our specialist site at antiquesilverspoons for a further large selection ofGeorgian silver marrow scoops.

MEASUREMENTS: 21.7cm (9\") long;41grams weight.

MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for London 1759, made by William Turner.

CONDITION: Excellent original condition. This is a great piece, but if you were to find anything wrong with it, then you might say that the bowl tip is ever so slightly sharp (no loss of shape).

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions. Good luck, Gary.

We offer a full money back guarantee, if you are not happy with the item, within fourteen days of receipt.
