Original Vintage Astrological Bracket Clock by Christiaan Huygens

This is your chance to own a beautiful quality musical bracket clock by a top master clock maker. complete with original 8 day movement with Astrological dial. Clock features a really nice quality burr walnut or maple eye walnut veneer case with beautiful caddy top detail. Great quality clock in fine condition and good working order, this clock is to celebrated the great 17th century clock maker and was made in the late 20th century a superb collectible clock of a good size, good luck

Case
- Made of an beautiful burr walnut veneer in panels to the base, sides, front and top.
- Beautiful patina although a little sun bleached
- Hand carved decoration throughout,

Dial

- Silvered dial with Arabic & Roman numerals
- Three winding holes for the three trains of the movement
- huge amount going on from moon rollers to date apertures a really good item

Movement
- Brass 8 day striking movement. musical movement playing on gongs
- Signed by West German with floating balance
- Movement will run for approximately 8 days when fully wound
- Clock has a good action and keeps good time
- Comes complete with winding key triple chime playing three different musical tunes

Measurements
- Clock measures approximately 48cm (18.5 inches) high by 33cm wide and 23cm deep

Condition
- Condition is generally very good and the clock has a nice patina some slight sun bleaching to the back and sides
- This clock is a genuine antique so it will inevitably have minor signs of age and wear but these are minimal.
- Movement has been cleaned and oiled and is in full working order
- The case looks to be in lovely condition
