An Original and Rare Austrian Bronze Art Nouveau Solid Bronze Candlestick designed by Gustav Gurschner C 1900 Unsigned.
Standing 12 inches in height ( 31cm) this is a rare and unique Gurschner Design that can be seen on google images of the designer.
At the early part of the last century it was converted into a lamp at sometime as often candlesticks were and there is a repaired hole to the base along with a couple pin size.( see photo) Also a hole in the candle section protruding underneath ( again see photo) This is where an electric wire would have been threaded.
A lovely collectablepiece.
