There is a very interesting story that goes with this piece and it proves the historical significance of this. It was found an estate of one of the Oil workers who worked down in Tampico, Mexico at the time.The first Oil well ever drilled in Mexico was drilled in Tampico in 1901.This was used in the offices and judging from its industrial size it is most likely a\"One of a Kind.\" Not only is the seal alone significant but I have never seen this style seal it is a true piece of art. Turn the dumbbell style handle and themechanism pushes down. The mechanism works, the grasshopper like legs springs pressure as you crank it back up. When pressed all the way down you need to give the grasshopper like leg a little push to get it going and it cranks fine,definitely needs some cleaning and oiling as it has been stored away forever. No breaks or repairs, greatoriginal pinstriping!It measures 14 inches tall, 15 inches across the dumbbell style handle and it weighs an amazing 39 pounds!!
