RARE IRISH GEROGIAN SILVER CREAM JUG

A beautiful early 19th-century Irish solid sterling silver antique cream or milk jug.

Rectangular and bellied shape, with wavy and gadrooned rim. Raised on four bun feet.

Decorated with lovely embossment of foliated scrolls, flowers and shells; the central band with fish scale patterns in the background.

A heart shaped cartouche which contains an original monogram.

A superb genuine 203 year old Irish antique silver cream jug.
