This limited edition ofIntothe Starswas issued onlyin hardcover, 1000 signed & numbered copies, published in 2011.This IS NOT one of the hardcover signed and numbered copies. This is mostlikely a pre-run or ARC copy. There are no markings or corrections on thepages. It is the same book as the signed limited edition but with no limitationpage.

There are 1000 of the signed, limited edition of thisbook, and then there is this copy. Although this copy is not signed, because ofthe passing of Michael Blake this book will not be reprinted. Also, the Zovaedition, which is not illustrated, will also not be reprinted as Zova Books hasgone out of business. If you are aMichael Blake fan and you weren’t lucky enough to get one of the 1000 signededitions, you need this book.

Fans of John Solie will be intrigued by the illustrationsin this book. These are not his usual drawings for movie posters, etc. Theillustrations in this book are a different genre and are very intense. You won’tfind them anywhere except in this book.

The book is a story of a man fighting in World War 1 and the abandoned Cavalry horse he comes across. Together they fight to survive together in horrific battles against incredible odds behind enemy lines. Yes, it’s a story of a man and his horse, but it is so much more. It’s the bond between the two that keeps them from giving up; and to live long enough to finally get home.
